Group Combine

From the found objects we individually gathered on our Pre-Determined journeys, we brought them to gather to create our own group combine which we could then photograph and draw from.

More Observational Drawings

These are the rest of my observational drawings that I drew using graphite, charcoal and ink. These Drawings were all inspired by Line and gestural drawing artists such as Frank Auerback, Alberto Giacometti and Georg Baselitz.

Observational Drawings

I used a number of my found objects that I found on my pre- determined journey to then draw from using a number of different materials and techniques.

For this drawing I had one minute to draw a continuous line drawing using a graphite pencil.

The Environment Project

This is my Environment Blog where I am able to showcase my work that I have produced throughout the project.
At the start of the project I looked at the works of Robert Rauschenberg's assemblages and a number of other artists that produced ready made art, for example Marcel Duchamp and Susan Hiller. Inspired by these artists we were asked to plan a Journey which we then went on to find discarded objects that we could then go onto use as parts of a planned sculpture.
After looking at ready made art and recycling materials to use for our art, we then began to focus on the different environmental issues that are currently effecting the earth. My chosen issue that I chose to research and base my outcome on was the deforestation of the world's rain forests. After in depth research on the issue I felt that it was an important issues that needed to be brought to attention. So I had to come up with ideas for my final sculpture that would get across the issue that I have researched.
